Here is where everything is kept and how to make it disappear. Written so you can understand it without being a lawyer.
LiW never asks you to sign up: no name, no email, no password. Download and go. So there is no profile to delete, and nobody has to authorise you.
Home, Work, your favourites, recent destinations, the trips you made and the roads you set aside live only there, and never reach us. To delete all of it at once, uninstall LiW: the phone takes everything away with the app. If you only want to remove a few entries, you can do it inside the app, whenever you like.
If you leave “Help me improve LiW” switched on, at the end of a trip we receive numbers: kilometres, minutes, whether you arrived, whether you were in the car, the town you were heading to, and any faults. Never the road you took, never where you live, never the name of the place. There is nothing that says who you are, and the identifier changes every month. That is exactly why we cannot find “your” records and delete them: we do not know which ones they are. It is the price of anonymity, and we pay it gladly.
In LiW’s settings there is a switch called “Help me improve LiW”. Turn it off and nothing else is ever sent, not even your rating, and you do not have to tell anyone.
The subscription does not go through us: Apple and Google handle it with your account. You cancel it in the App Store or Google Play settings, and deleting LiW’s data does not affect it.
